Best Rugby Moment: Has to be taking a try from Rich T against Hullensians when he decided to run across my line and trip up, giving me an easy walk in to the try line
Worst Rugby Moment: The time we played Heath, Joe Kaye started a scuffle, I went in to stop in, and Joe punched me for some reason.
Best on the Beers: Lucas Uren even though he bores me to death with rugby talk, he can sup a few.
Worst on the Beers: Close one between Snowy n Whitey, have to go with Snowy; he gets a bit weird.
Aspirations for the Season: To play consistent rugby week in week out and gain promotion back to Yorkshire One.
Player to watch this season: There are loads of players to look out for, from old man Stu Inman to young guns like Kristian. But for me, Alfie Seeley he brings another dimension to our attack.
Moo’s Bio: My first memory of Sean is playing with him against Pontefract when he got red-carded after 5 minutes. Since then he’s lasted much longer on the pitch and become a very influential player. Always playing on the edge, Sean’s ‘big hits’ can be game-changers. Not very often can one player have such an influence on changing the course of a game with a bone-crunching tackle or a gliding run through the gaps in defence.
Let’s hope he cheers up in his old age and stops giving us coaches so much grief in training.
