A baltic battle for 2nd spot. Beverley were looking to close the gap between 2nd and 3rd place in Yorkshire One, in very cold and misty conditions. However, Keighley started the game promptly with some good rugby. An interesting penalty call saw the visitors react quickest and go the length to tie the scores. Keighley eventually built a gap in the second half before the referee went down with a hamstring strain. He tried to continue but could only manage long enough to see Beverley score try. Keighley left frustrated at gifting the visitors a losing bonus point, Beverley left equally frustrated the game was abandoned when they were within in sight of a possible turn around.
