On 17th March 2025, Joseph (Joe) McDowell passed peacefully at Mayfield View Care Home, aged 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary, loving father of Roger and Alastair.

The cremation will take place at Oakworth Crematorium on Wednesday 9th April at 1pm followed by a celebration of Joe’s life at St. Mark’s Church, Utley at 1:45pm.

Family flowers only please, but donations in Joe’s memory would be appreciated to Manorlands Hospice, Oxenhope. A collection box will be provided at the service for this purpose or may be made online at www.gallagherfamilyfunerals.co.uk. Please feel free to dress casually to celebrate Joe’s life.
