Keighley Under 10’s showed just how far they have come in the last 12 months by winning their Home Rugby Union Tournament on Sunday against some strong opposition. Teams from Skipton, Huddersfield, Huddersfield YMCA, Bradford & Bingley and Aireborough

Game 1 – Keighley v Bradford & Bingley
Bees were first up for Keighley, and straight away the strength of the Keighley Forwards showed through with strong mauling and quick link-up play with the Backs.
The first half saw Keighley grab two well made tries, the first through a surging run By Aaron Wilson, the second through James Whitcombe who showed his strength by forcing the ball over the line.
Bees responded with a well worked try, but it was not capitalised on.
The second half once again saw strong pressure from Keighley and key men during the half were Will Halliday and Aaron Wilson with Lennon Curr showing some excellent long distance distribution.
A great half for Keighley was finished with a further two tries for Aaron Wilson and one for Zac Scott.
