Game 3 - Keighley v Huddersfield
Keighley rediscovered their touch for the third game of the day... Key players for the first half showing excellent control and distribution were Zac Scott, Aaron Wilson, Alex Womersley and Joss McArthur.
Keighley’s two alternating scrums also showed some great power play with Austin Flaherty, Harry Gould, Joseph Myers, Joss McArthur, Harvey Bird and James Whitcombe, all showing why they will be a force to be reckoned with next year when the game goes to a 5-man scrum!
The game also showed that the training hadn’t been forgotten; time and again Keighley stealing and getting turn-over ball resulting in a hat trick of tries for forward James Whitcombe, and further tries for Harvey Bird, his first of the season and Alex Womersley, in a game they totally dominated.
