Both Bees and Keighlians started the morning trying to play flowing rugby but it was the Keighley visitors that adapted to the disjointed nature of the game.

Pressure in midfield from Bobby Darbyshire and Lennon Curr forced a mistake and a wild loose pass was intercepted by James Field who showed his pace and left the Bees defence in his wake, touching down to the right of the posts.

Keighley continued to apply pressure from the restart gradually working the ball down field.
In the final quarter spirited defence from the Bees resulted in them being awarded a scrum inside their 22.
The Bees secured the ball but dogged pressure from the Keighley forwards resulted in Oliver Brown charging down the clearance kick.
