Keighley U15 vs Aireborough U15

Periods of great effort and skill peppered with hesitation resulted in an engaging encounter.

Keighleys Coaches Comments:

Steve Welch:
We made several changes in key positions to test the lads in different positions, in addition to welcoming Cameron on his debut. Although we played fairly well in general, we allowed their centres to run through centre field without being tackled well enough. Airborough's number 12 & 13 deserve the recognition of their skills and timing of their runs.
Both teams had several turnovers at the breakdown, this is something we'll work on in training.
Going forward we looked dangerous in the backs, again, something we will continue to improve on in training.

Nigel Curr:
The boys played very well today!
They put some things in to practice from the training field that worked well!
Our 9 10 12 combination is working very well and starting to gel.
Our new look back row went well today to say it was the first time they had played as a unit.
We have to keep looking forward and keep positive with each other and it will come very quickly

We played well today but need to concentrate for the whole game.
