Following our win at the district festival the first game of the Yorkshire Cup proper has been drawn. We are away at York on Sunday 5th December.

Meeting time at York is no later than 10.15am please (sorry!)

Unfortunately, as this is a regional cup competition played under strict rules and regulations we are limited to a squad of 17 players. Squad names have been submitted to the RFU and we are then bound by this. For those players not in the squad, our apologies, it will mean a free weekend. We would have loved to take each and every one of our full squad but we must abide by the rules. We were also due to play at half time at Leeds v Northampton but obviously this is not possible. We are, however, scheduled to play there again this season so there will be another opportunity for all.

For the 14 players who took part in the district festival at Skipton recently and won, all being well there will be a presentation in the clubhouse this Wednesday 24th Nov at 7.30pm. We would like everyone who played to be there and all parents; it would be great if other squad members were there to give their support and congratulations too. There may or may not be training beforehand – watch this space.

There is a Christmas party at the club on Sunday 19th December for all players from U7s to U12s. I believe it starts at 2pm and I think it is £5 per player to cover a present and food etc. Please can you let me know availability. Thanks.
